Town Hall is Open to the Public
The Town phones are manned from 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Town Hall is also open to the public, 10 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday. We ask that you not come in if you are not feeling well, running a fever, coughing or sneezing. We look forward to serving you, either in person or via phone call.
The Police Department continues to operate as usual. You can reach the Ignacio Police Department by calling 970-563-4206.
If you have a utility emergency, please call the on-call number (970-759-3660). The Public Works employee that is on call will assess the emergency and respond accordingly. If you have a utility billing or service question, please call Town Hall (970-563-9494) or email the Utility Clerk (firstname.lastname@example.org).

Town Board Meeting Info
The Town Board and Ignacio School Board will have a Joint Work Session on August 11, 2022, at 6:00 PM.

Downtown Redevelopment Plan
The University Technical Assistance Program (UTAP) at UC Denver has partnered with the Town of Ignacio to assemble a downtown redevelopment plan. The goal of this project is to enhance the downtown core along Goddard Avenue between the blocks of Lampert Street and Empire Street centering on the Highway 151 Intersection. Loneliness has a huge negative impact on people, and loneliness is easily solved by making positive connections. Loneliness has increased throughout the pandemic, and the need for positive connections has increased. Please click HERE to see the proclamation passed by the Town Board on June 13, 2022, declaring June 2022 as Creating Connections Month.
Although June has passed, the need to foster positive connections continues. The Town of Ignacio encourages it residents to continue the good patterns that were started through the Creating Connections Proclamation.
